Pastor's Message:
At Wesley Chapel, we consider the church to be people -believers in Jesus Christ who gather together to worship Him. As part of our worship, Wesley Chapel folks reach out warmly and unselfishly, sharing prayers, hugs, laughter, and helpful service. Rollie Bozardt likes to refer to the second chapter of Acts when he says that we are of "one accord." We don't divide our people into "traditional" and "contemporary" categories. We stay together-young and old, shouters and whisperers, new Christians and mature Christians (Why, we even accept Yankees here!).
In Jesus' prayer for all believers in John 17, He prayed to His Father, "I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one...May they be brought to complete unity" (N.I.V.). Together, we are the Body of Christ, and every member is precious and necessary.
So, in obedience to our Savior, we go beyond "going" to church. We are church, all the time! Our prayer is that in Wesley Chapel United Methodists, the world sees the love of Jesus Christ. After all, Christ is counting on us. Are you counting on Christ?
