Problems With Ebay
Ebay is being sued by a man named Thomas G. Woolston over a patent infringement. Woolston, an entrepreneur from Great Falls, Virginia, is suing Ebay for equipping a payment service to all of their websites. Including Half.com, a subsidiary of Ebay. This service was used by Ebay to sell over 1.2 billion dollars worth of merchandise. Just recently a jury in Norfolk, Virginia ruled in favor of Woolston, requiring the Internet giant to pay $35 Million dollars to the Entreprenuer for using his services for the time the services were used. Woolston had also filed and won a suit against Priceline.com who also used his payment service.
