The list belongs to all of us, we all have had some input into it and we still post new one everyday. And when was the last time that list's been updated?
I posted League of Extraodinary Gentlemen, Johnny English, Tomb Raider 2, Pirates, Bad Boys 2, along with others and they're no where to be found on that list.
The list is outdated, but still hours.

I just think this whole thing god blown way outta proportion and circus do understand im not aiming this at you nor cat, you both contributed alot to these forums as did sharonhorney,but lets just end this is all very chilish now and its just going back and forth ,the reason mods delete your posts is prolly to stop flame wars from happening.I wish you and cat well on your new forums,its fine that its beinmg deleted for it will just give me something to do in the next couple days to provide a updated one.but it all started when it was asked to be taken down and thats what the topic is about,is about it being taking down ,but its allright for it to be put up on your guys site? and as I stated before if you guys were in possesion of these movies then id say fine, but the hard work doesnt just get credited to one single person that sorted it out alot of people worked hard on that list. period so take the list down from imesh dont posy it here or on your site we will come up with a new list in a few days time. the end.......

Nice to have the list back home here as it should be, thanks to the mods for working this out, and to all imeshers for voicing their opinions.

Sounds like trouble brewing again? Well, I've not been contributing to the forum for quite some months now (medical), but I'm still a concerned member.

My rationale for saying the list is NOT owned by any one individual is :

MANY people took the time to sort their files a bit and contribute the titles/byte size to this list. I was one of those contributers to the Good Files List when the idea was proposed. The list would NOT have existed if WE hadn't contributed If we are going by the logic being used to claim this list, then the actual ownership of the list is by the researchers who contributed the data in the first place. The DATA would be the property of the individual who submitted it, not the person who reformatted it. I can't see how anyone could OWN information that we all posted in good conscience to be used for the imesh members. It was given freely to be "OWNED" by the IMESH forum members!

Its not easy to cut/paste, alphabetize and organize, but if the workload became too time consuming, another member should have been asked to assume the duties. This was not the case at the time the list was started. Back then it seemed there were "too many cooks" as it was, and I distinctly remember Cat volunteering for this task.

Is this vote due to friendships having soured or because the file upkeep has gotten too much for the person in charge? Claiming ownership of the file because someone's gotten angry would be a very dissappointing thing to do, and I don't know of any senior iMesh members who would do that to their fellow iMeshers just for payback. Therefore, this must be about the workload?

I am making the offer that if it is the workload involved with maintenance of this file that is causing this brouhaha, I will assume it for you all and keep the list updated. I can't be active in the forums as before, but this list shouldn't be too taxing. If the original list IS somehow forcefully removed, I'd even go so far as trying to reconstruct it from the older posts.
