Season One : I joined PBEMFF late following Adam Crofts mid-season departure to take over Juventus. When i joined the team had 0 points, so it was an uphill struggle from then. I ended up finishing bottom and being relegated to Division 1b.
Season Two : After considerably alot of dealing i'd found the team i wanted which brought me alot more success. Season 2 saw me come 3rd in my Inter Wing group losing out in qualifying by a point. Division 1b was a close competition between Juventus and Porto all season, it finally came down to a clash between both teams in the final fixture. I was trailing by three points and 10 goals goal difference. I needed to score five goals to win the championship. Unluckily i could only manage four so Neil Stewart and his boys grabbed the championship. By finishing runners up it meant i qualified for the play offs, which was against Stephen Norris's PSV. I managed to win four nil on the day to win promotion to the Premiership.
Season Three : After Promotion from Division 1B back into the premiership i decided my team still wasent strong enough, which is why i decided to play two youths in the shape of Jurgen Colin and Andy Robinson.
Considering this i think i had a good season. I managed to end up 2nd in my Inter Wing group, but got knocked out in the 2nd round when i drawed a tough tie against Bayern Munich away, losing 3-0. In the EFA cup i ended up losing in the Quarter finals against Real Madrid, with the score being 2-0 to them. In the league i had struggled right until week 12, where i managed to turn things around in my favour to give myself a chance of staying up in the Premiership, which i did, after yet another dramatic game against Porto, this time to stay up. I ended up winning 3-0 on the day with a Lee Trundle hatrick, lets hope i can now really start competing with the big boys this season in the Premiership.
Season 4 : This season is quite possibly the worst i'd ever had in PBEMFF. After hanging on in the Premiership last season i expected to kick on from there and consolidate in the prem at a higher position than 6th, but after another season of many deals taking place this was not the case for my Juventus team.
This season saw me sell the best player ive ever had at Juventus in Stephen Appiah who is now playing at Feyenoord. I decided this was for the best interests of Juve as Stephen was ageing and the players i got in return enabled me to take the standard of the team in strength and depth to a new level. Another factor of the season could have been blamed on the fact i was playing a youth in the most lethal position of Forward, Angelos Charisteas. But hey, who am i kidding, it wasent the best season in all aspects and things could have been done to save it towards the end, even though the competition was very stiff. I ended up bottom place in the league, after finding i was drawing too many games that a few wins instead could have been vital to me. In the EFA cup for the second season running Adam Walker's Real Madrid knocked me out in the quarter finals, lets hope im not writing about the same event this time next season. In the Inter Wing cup, similar to Season two, i missed out on qualifying by a point, which saw Dundee Utd and Portsmouth prevail.
So there we are, that was the highlights of season four, as i drop to Division one for the second time in my time as Juventus manager, i am alot more confident, the Juventus squad is undoubtedly in the best shape its ever been, and i am dead set on winning my first competition/league next season, so fingers crossed.
Season 5 : This season is a complete comparison to what last season was, from my worst season in the game, to my very best. This season firstly saw me Introduce Jiri Jarosik onto the PBEMFF world as my youth midfielder.
In the I.W cup, this year i got through my group in second place, with Group winners Inter Milan. My run this season saw me get through to the semi finals, against Auxerre, which we drew 0-0 after full time and Extra time, before Ross beat me on penalties to get through to the final and eventually win the competition.
However in the EFA, i was more fortunate, and won the seasons prestigeous competition, beating respected teams along the way such as Brondby, Celta Vigo, Porto, AC Milan, before beating Auxerre 3-2 in the final.
In the 1st division, i am happy to say that i bounced back greatly after getting relegated last season, winning the 1st Division title. The season was hotly contested between myself with Juve,Kees De Boer Real Sociedad, and Terry Leighton at Feyenoord. I had a terrible first half of the season, but glad to say that i came back fighting in the second half to go on to win it, on equal points as Feyenoord and Sociedad, which says everything about how close it was.
