jason was born out of africa in the early 1970's an imported into a small town called hastings in the heart of hollington, which is on the east coast of england in the uk.

there he was raised as one of the family in the rees household. fed on about 5 bananas a day, and he was one with nature sleeping in a tree in the backyard. he is on of the most famous chimps to ever appear on television. his most recent appearance is in the halfords advert were hes doin tricks on a bicycle. you also might recognise him from the pg tips ad, as a kid in a baseball cap.

he now lives amongst humans and also works with them, in a warehouse but has still got his temper tantrums, which make him stand out amongst the human race.

he is now 13 yrs old in chimpanzee years. soon his retirement is coming up, rumour has it that he is to be sent back to africa where he can swing freely in the trees. and have his favourite appetizer the banana diet. more news on jason the magnificent chimp soon.
