Before the women started to join the Army, many of the men 
thought of them as uncapable of managing hard labor and the 
strength required was too much for them to handle. Altought 
their thoughts were wrong. A good majority of the women who 
joined are capable of doing all that is required to be a soldier, 
a nurse who works in the battlefield, and many more. Before, 
there hardly any women who were listed in the military, but 
now if you look, there is much, much more women who joined 
because they want to serve and protect the United States. 
Women who wanted to be treated equally as the men were 
went through great challenges to be able to be noticed and 
accepted into the Army and also by the men who thought 
negitive of them.
