I have been reading the New King James Version of the Bible ever since I learned how to read. In fact, it is the version of the Bible used on this site. There's nothing wrong with that, other than the fact that this translation of the Bible is difficult for some people to read and comprehend. I have seen debates on which version of the Bible is the best, and they all confuse me even more on what version I should use. I have come to the conclusion that translation choice is a very personal decision, almost like choosing a church. I have personally decided to keep two versions of the Bible. A NKJV for serious study (because it is derived from the original Greek texts) and a New Living Translation (NLT) for everyday (because it is derived from other English translations). I would recommend the "Dual Version System" (as I lovingly call it) to anyone who reads the Bible, although I don't recommend and two specific versions. Happy Studies!
