This week's devotion is entitled:
Guys, I don't really have a verse for this week, I just wanted to share something with you guys that I feel God has really put on my heart. It's something I've been strongly dealing with personally. Do you spend much time with God? Between school, work, friends, homework, chores, even church, how much time do you spend praying, praising, and reading your Bible? Do you do it at all? Do you find that there are alot of days where you don't spend any time with God at all? I think we all do, but it shouldn't happen 5 days out of the week. God should be a part of everything we do. Every thought we think, every plan we map out, every decision we make. We should be constantly talking to God. The Bible says to pray without ceasing, but there are some days when we don't pray at all. We were just too busy, too tired, too stressed, too something. But they're all cheap excuses. God is still going to love you, and He is still going to forgive you no matter how much time you don't spend with Him, and no matter how many excuses you make. But it breaks His heart to see you spending all that time on things that are going to pass away, and not spending any time with Him, your Eternal Father. I want you to think about how much you pray, read your Bible, praise God in a week. Examine your priorities, and make some time for God.
