This week's devotion is entitled:

Something Different

Last week's devotion was about becoming something new. This week, we will continue this series by talking about becoming something different; what to do once you have realized that you are a creation in Christ.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
~Romans 12:2

Don't fall into the world system. Don't try to do something just to fit in. Try your best to fit in with God's Word, and not with what other people are doing or saying.

The main thing you need to do to be different is to let people know that you are a Christian. Don't try to hide it. Shine your light before men (a devotion on shining your light can be found here)!

And don't be afraid to be different. Some people may not like you, but we are here to please God and not man. And it's OK if people make fun of you:

"Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
~Matthew 5:11-12

Just remember that it's OK to be different, and it's what God wants us to do!
