This week's devotion is entitled:

Two

This week, we are going to continue our study into living a stress-free life. As Christians, we should have less stress than anyone on earth. We just have to learn to tap into the faith inside of us to let God handle it and let us take a breather.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
~Romans 8:28

No matter what your situation, it will be OK for you if you truly love God and are working toward His calling on your life. Let God handle it, and everything will turn out OK.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
~Romans 8:31

Don't worry about what other people think about you, what other people say about you, or what other people do to try to hurt you. No man is above God, and no man has more power than God. Even Satan is under God's feet. God is on your side, and it will be OK.

Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad--because these trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering, and afterward you will have the wonderful joy of sharing his glory when it is displayed to all the world. Be happy if you are insulted for being a Christian, for then the glorious Spirit of God will come upon you. If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people's affairs. But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his wonderful name!
~1 Peter 4:12-16 (New Living Translation)

Remember, that on earth, bad things will happen to you. But if you suffer through them with your faith in God, you will have your reward in Heaven. When you are going through hardship, you are in the best position to praise God. Rejoice, and you will feel better. Christians have a hope and a promise that no one else on earth has, and we should not mourn, but rejoice always!
