This week's devotion is entitled:

Be Still

"Be silent, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world."
~Psalm 46:10

This past week, for anyone who knows me personally or not at all, has been EXTREMELY hard for me. I've had tons of work to do for school, I had to miss Wednesday night church for the fourth week in a row, my little brother had to spend the night in a hospital, I haven't been keeping up with my New Year's Resolution to get closer to God, it's just really hard. I was getting depressed and stressed out trying to take care of it all by myself. I tried to give it over to God, but in my foolishness I didn't really trust Him with all of the things I had to take care of and worry about. Then He hit me with this verse. He is God! He is everywhere! He is everything! He is the Creator and Ruler of the universe! He can handle anything I throw at Him and take it all in stride. He is perfect, He is awesome. I had lost my revelation of just how big God really is this past week, but I am thankful that He gave it back. I wanted to share this revelation with you this week, and I encourage you to share it with anyone who needs to know that God is huge and He can help them no matter what they may be going through.
