Summary: Micky, Davy, Mike and Peter make up a group of aspiring musicians who call themselves "The Monkees". Their struggles to establish success take them down many avenues. Especially when Jacelyn slams (somewhat literally) into Micky's life. She is unlike anyone the drummer has ever known before, and he is immediately intrigued by her. Friendship develops quickly between them, eventually deepening into love. The only constant in life is change, and the guys begin to understand this only too well. But will their growth as musicians and individuals lead them to the fame they crave?
Also: I have this story posted up on the Monkeeland forum as well, so to any who may have seen it there: yes, this is the same story. Only difference is it has just been "tweaked" a bit. And a lot of the characters have new names. Most notably, my main character--who is known as "Bella" at Monkeeland.
