(Three months later, Davy and Colissa's new baby had arrived and the four Monkees were more nervous than ever before about their final show. They were in their dressing rooms when Colissa showed up with the new baby in her hands...)
Colissa: Davy, I'm a little nervous about this. I already had a fan look at me as I passed by to the dressing rooms and it wasn't a very pretty look. I think they've already got wind of it.
Davy (Kissing her): It'll be all right. I've got lots of security guards on stand-by to get the both of you off the stage if necessary. (To their wide-awake baby boy) Hey Thomas! Daddy's gotta surprise for ya! (Davy pulled out a little pacifier for the baby that was made to look like a monkey)
Peter: Bet he likes my surprise better! (Peter handed Colissa a stuffed monkey)
Colissa: Aw, Peter, you didn't have to do that.
Peter (Taking the baby from Colissa to hold him): Sure I do; I'm his favorite Monkee. (Peter played with the baby just to make him smile and it worked)
Davy: You've got the golden touch mate. He likes you.
Peter: He should; I spoil him rotten.
Mike: Somehow I just never pictured you liking kids Peter.
Peter: I *love* kids Mike; especially when I can give them back. (They laughed as the baby was handed back to Colissa)
Micky (Coming into the room): Man you should *see* that auditorium. It is completely sold-out! There isn't an empty seat out there!
Mike: Yeah and we'd best get into place because the natives are getting a bit wrestless! (They laughed again)
Davy: Wait! Before we go out there I wanted to let the three of you know just how much you mean to me. Three years ago, all three of you showed up at the same time to help start a dream. Whether it was fate or destiny that brought us together we may never know, but you three helped make me dream come true and I will never forget you for it. You're me brothers; me mates; friends for life. Whatever we do from here, let's vow to always be friends. (They put their hands in the center like they always did before each show) One last time mates...
ALL FOUR OF THEM: MONKEE-MANIA!!!!!
(The announcer brought the Monkees out onto the stage and the crowd went wild. They were screaming louder than ever, their signs were saying "We'll miss you!" "We love you guys and will never forget you!" "You four are THEE band of this lifetime!" and signs that said "See you in 20 years!" As the next to last song finished up, Davy went up to the microphone to quiet the audience down...)
Davy: Quiet everybody! (It took quite a few minutes or more but the audience quieted down) Thank you! Three years ago, I brought this band together and I've not regretted one moment of it. I made three very good friends whom I am very proud to call my brothers. If it were not for Mike, Micky and Peter we would not be standing here today. As this concert comes to a close and we bid our last farewell to all of you, I wish to show you all why I have chosen to do this. (Davy turned his head and Colissa was brought out along with the newborn baby) I wish to introduce to all of you my wife of two years; Mrs. Colissa-Marie Jones. (There were some boos and hisses and other noises) Hey, now! If you love me, you will settle down and accept her for who she is and what she means to me. I chose to close this band cos of this little one right here. Allow me to introduce to you our brand new baby; Thomas David Jones. (There were 'awes' as Davy took the baby out of Colissa's arms and held him up for everyone to see and hear as he let out a cry when Davy put him up to the microphone) I think we may have a future star on our hands. (There were laughs as the baby was handed back to Colissa) With all this out of the way, this is (being funny) Peter Tork...
Peter: And Micky Dolenz...
Mike: And Davy Jones.
Micky: And Mike Nesmith saying...
Together: GOOOOD-BYE!!!!!!!!!! (There were screams, shouting, and more going on as the four Monkees took their last walk together off the stage. Colissa and the baby were quickly taken to the dressing room while the four Monkees came back out to do one final curtain call number)
UNTIL THEY MEET AGAIN...THE END!!!!
