Later that night around midnight, Elaine woke up and went into the computer room to check her emails. She had been sleeping for well over eight hours. She read her emails and laughed and laughed at them.
Someone opened the door, "What are you doing Elaine?"
"I couldn't sleep anymore and wanted to check my emails. Sorry if I woke you up." she replied. The person walked over next to her and sat down.
"Can I read one?" they asked.
"Sure," Elaine replied.
Elaine opened up the email and let Micky read it. He read it very slowly making sure that he understood the words clearly. He then looked at Elaine and asked, "What does it mean? I don't understand it."
"It's a religious email Micky. It is referencing how we should do unto others as we would like things done unto us." Elaine explained to him.
"I've got so much to learn yet Elaine. There's just so much to learn." Micky replied.
"I'm still learning" Elaine told him and smiled. "It just takes time and patience. God will give you the understanding if you ask him to."
"He will?" Micky asked (shocked).
"Yeah, he will sweetie. All we need to do is ask him. And the most important part is we must believe with all our hearts and souls to receive." Elaine smiled at him saying.
"Yeah I guess so." he replied.
She put her hand on his heart and said, "Not I guess so Micky. You must ask to be able to believe and receive or how will God know exactly what you are asking of him?"
"I thought he knows all things?" Micky asked confused. "That's what you've told me in the past."
Elaine looked at him and could tell he was lost. She told him, "After breakfast, you can go to church with me and then we can sit there as long as we need and I can explain more to you, ok?"
"Okay Elaine. I'll be happy to go to church with you." he smiled at her.
She gave him a hug and kiss and said, "I love you Micky."
"I love you too" he said back to her.
He held her hand while she looked at all of her other emails. Elaine also could tell that Micky was still very sleepy and groggy and that could be why he was slow to comprehend as well. When she was finished reading her emails, she told Micky, "Let's go back to sleep ok?"
Micky looked at her and replied, "Yeah."
The two friends went back to the bedroom and laid back down in bed. She set the alarm and then put her head on his shoulder. They both soon fell asleep again.
When her alarm went off at 6am, Micky jumped as it scared him. "What was that?" he said.
"Only my alarm Micky. I set it because we have church this morning, remember? She told him.
"Yeah I remember." he said. "I'm going with you, right?"
"If you want to Micky. I'm not going to force you to go if you don't want to." she replied.
"I want to go with you." he replied.
Elaine got out of bed and peeked in the livingroom and saw Sam. "Are the girls going today?" she asked.
"I am and Mike is going with us too. He's in the shower and I'm already dressed because I didn't know if we were all going to breakfast beforehand or not." she replied.
"Yeah that's what I was thinking we could do. Breakfast before and then go to church. What about Naomi and Louise?" she asked.
"Um well Naomi was up a lot during the night I believe because Peter was having terrible nightmares. And Louise I have no idea about." Sam replied.
"Poor Peter" Elaine told Sam.
"Yeah, I think Naomi is very worried about him." Samantha replied.
"Micky's in the shower now and then I will get dressed and he's coming with us too, ok?" she asked.
"That's fine. The more the merrier in my opinion." Sam answered. "I think it does them a world of good actually."
"Elaine?" Elaine heard behind her.
Elaine turned around and replied, "Yes dear, what's wrong?"
"Can you hand me my clothes please? I forgot to bring them in with me." Micky asked very groggy.
Elaine went through Micky's clothes and found a nice pair of black pants with a nice white shirt and said, "These will look really good for Church, ok Micky?"
"Okay thanks baby. I'm hurrying." he said.
"Take your time. We're going to the late service at 10am so don't kill yourself." she replied.
Elaine turned back around and told Sam, "We'll never make it to the first service so we'll just take our time at breakfast with the guys and go to second, ok?"
"Fine with me. I'm still half-asleep myself. I tried sniffing my peppermint shampoo to give me alertness; however, it hasn't worked yet." she replied.
"Is Mike also acting groggy?" Elaine asked Sam.
"Yeah actually he is Elaine. He forgot they were staying over here the weekend and screamed when he found us in bed together. I thought he woke the whole entire house up; but, thankfully, he didn't. It took him an hour to understand they arrived here Friday night/Saturday morning after the concert." Sam replied.
"That's odd. I wonder why they are so groggy?" Elaine asked.
"Men? Who knows? I don't understand any of them." Sam answered.
Elaine closed the door when Micky came out of the bathroom all showered and dressed. "Don't you look snappy Mr. Dolenz?" Elaine chimed happily.
"I used some of your peppermint smelling thing to wake me up, I hope that was ok?" Micky asked.
"That's fine as long as you don't use my razor to shave your face I don't care." Elaine replied.
"Well I used a new one from your package since I left mine at the house. I hope that was okay to do that?" Micky asked.
"A new one? Yeah that's fine. Just not any that were lying out on the side of the tub." Elaine answered.
"I saw those lying there. Why do you keep them there and not use a fresh one every time?" he asked.
"That would cost a fortune Micky. I shave almost daily." she replied. Elaine looked in her top and said, "Speaking of which. Thanks for reminding me. I'll be right back. Sam's in the livingroom if you want to sit and wait out there, ok?"
"Okay Elaine." he replied. Micky walked out into the livingroom and said, "Hello Samantha."
"Hey Micky, don't you look spiffy today." she replied.
"That's what Elaine just said too. She's in taking her shower now." he told Sam.
"Are you feeling okay Micky? You seem kind of out of it like Mike." Sam asked.
"I think we ate too much pizza last night when we both snuck out of bed and raided the refrigerator. I feel extremely weighed down today for some unknown reason" he replied.
"You raided the refrigerator, huh? I hope you left some for us girls or you will be in trouble." Sam scolded.
"Yes, there's plenty still left. Elaine treats us like kings when we visit. She's so good to us." he said smiling at her.
"She's not the only one that treats you like kings either Micky. Naomi, Louise, and myself all let you stay here, as well. We all own the house together." Samantha said sternly at him.
"Oh Sam, I'm sorry I didn't mean any offense to it. I know you're all good to us. Please forgive me, I'm still half-asleep." Micky replied back to her.
Mike came out of Sam's room and said, "Baby you're almost out of bodywash."
Sam looked at him and asked, "How can I be out of bodywash? I just bought a new one Friday night after work?"
"I don't know, but the one I used was almost completely empty." Mike replied.
Sam stood up and walked into her room and looked underneath her bathroom sink and came out with a new bottle and said, "It's right here. The new bottle. You can look under the sink you know."
"Sorry baby. I didn't want to snoop around in the cabinets or anything." he replied to her.
Sam shook her head as she walked back into the bathroom to put the new bottle of bodywash out and threw away the empty one. "Was that so freaking hard?" she asked herself. "Men! Can't live with em or without em. Geesh."
Naomi peeked her head in Sam's room and said, "We're not going to Church today. Can you let Elaine know please?"
"Yeah I'll let her know. How's he doing?" Sam asked concerned.
Naomi replied, "He's finally asleep. I think that fight they had on Friday really messed him up because he kept screaming, `darn you Mike for your nonsense. Leave me the heck alone. I can't stand you.' On and on he went all night long. I hope you didn't hear what he was saying."
Sam replied, "no, not at all. Mike was so zonked anyway."
"That's good" Naomi said as she breathed a sigh of relief.
Louise walked out of her bedroom and asked everyone, "Who gave Davy the extra green peppers that were in the fridge that I was waiting to fix my vegetable casserole with?"
Naomi and Sam popped their heads out of the bedroom and said, "Not us. Why?"
"He got ahold of my entire package of peppers and ate them during the night. Now he's having chest pains and complaining of intense gas." she replied.
Mike looked at her and said, "Um we raided the fridge last night during the middle of the night I'm afraid. Davy didn't want pizza and he loves peppers so he ate those."
"Stay away from my portion of the food in the fridge people. I'm going to have to write my name on everything that's mine. Where's Elaine? I need some of her anti-nausea/anti-gas medication." Louise asked.
"In the shower" Micky replied.
"Go get her then Micky. I need that medication now." Louise demanded.
Micky walked into Elaine's room, knocked on the bathroom door, and said, "Elaine, Louise needs your anti-nausea medication for Davy. He ate all her green peppers during the middle of the night."
Elaine opened the door and walked out wearing her towel and said, "It's in my purse I believe. Hang on a second Micky."
"I'm sorry to interrupt your shower." he said.
"I was just drying off anyway. It's okay." she replied. She went through her purse and found the bottle. She read the label and then said, "Tell Louise, he gets two of these now and then two of these in two hours if the symptoms persist, ok?"
"Two now and two in another two hours?" he said.
"Yeah that's right" Elaine replied.
"Thanks Elaine." he said as he left the room.
Elaine went back into the bathroom to finish drying off and apply her Jean Nate' body lotion to her body. She double-checked her arms and legs to make sure she didn't miss any places. She put on her stockings and then her dress with her high-heeled shoes. And then she put her hair up into a long ponytail. She walked out into the livingroom and said, "Sorry about that. I'm ready now. I take it Louise and Naomi aren't going?"
"No" Sam replied. "It's just the four of us."
"You want to drive?" Elaine asked Sam.
"I thought you would since you have the bigger car." Sam replied.
"Okay that's fine. Everyone ready?" Elaine asked.
Louise walked out into the livingroom and asked, "Two now and two in two hours, is that correct?"
"Yeah that's right. Didn't Micky tell you that?" she asked.
"Yeah he told me, I was just double-checking before you left that's all." Louise replied. "Oh yeah, where's that potpourri air freshener that we have?"
"Should be under the kitchen sink or we don't have anymore" Sam replied.
"Thanks" Louise replied. "Tell the Pastor I said hello and apologize for not coming today."
"Ok, we will" Elaine replied.
The four friends walked out to Elaine's car and got inside. Micky sat up front with Elaine while Mike and Sam sat in the backseat.
"Where are we going for breakfast at?" Elaine asked everyone.
"I thought we'd go over to the Diamond Restaurant again for breakfast. It's a fairly quiet place." she replied.
"That's fine with me; however, I flipped for pizza the other night and now someone needs to buy me breakfast." Elaine replied.
"I'll buy your breakfast Elaine." Micky smiled and said. "It's the least I can do for you."
"Thanks Micky" Elaine replied.
After parking the car in the parking lot, the four friends all went inside the restaurant and got their normal corner booth in non-smoking section and ordered breakfast and then talked about anything and everything they could.
