Love To Love
Six months passed and everything between Mary and Peter were great. It was as if the kiss between Mike and Mary never happened and Mary never brought it up for fear of it breaking all they had worked for. Peter and Mike were even friends again; they spent more time to together then ever. Mike had even found himself a girlfriend and was smitten with her. It was Kimmy this and Kimmy that for the last two months. Everything was normal between Micky and Lilly, well as normal has their relationship could get. Davy kept up his old ways of falling in love with a different girl everyday and personally Mary was getting sick of it. She couldn’t keep up with the names.

It was a Saturday and the guys, Mary, Lilly and Kimmy were all out. The guys had been having a little bit of a dry spell for gigs the last few weeks but tonight Mary and Lilly decided to treat the guys for a night out. Everyone but Davy sat around a table making small talk. Davy was off dancing with some girl he had found when they had entered the club.
“How’s work Kimmy?” Lilly asked smiling politely. Lilly didn’t like Kimmy one bit, Mary didn’t like her that much.
“Fine.” Kimmy replied examining her nails.
“That’s good.” Peter said.
“Oh my! Look Mike its Ryan, I have to go say hi. Be back soon hunny.” Kimmy got up and wiggled her way over to the man.
“Man what have you gotten yourself into Mike?” Micky asked.
“I know she is just great.” Mike said as if he didn’t even hear Micky’s question.
“Right.” Micky laughed. Mike seemed to be in a dream world, he didn’t even see Kimmy flirting with that Ryan guy.
“Jeeze Mike Kimmy sure is friendly.” Peter said trying to bring Mike to see how Kimmy was acting.
“Yeah she loves everyone.” Mike sighed.
“Oh Micky I love this song, let’s dance.” Lilly pulled Micky to his feet and they exited to the dance floor.
“Yeah Pete this is a good song, lets dance.” Mary had to escape it. Mike didn’t even see that Kimmy was using him. If he wasn’t careful he was going to get a broken heart. Mary pulled Peter onto the dance floor.

Davy saw her standing by the bar. Her hair was red and she had it curled into a flip. She wore a plain white mini dress and white go-go boots. Davy floated over to the beauty.
“’Ello I’m David Jones and I think I love you.” The girl looked down at Davy and laughed.
“Nice one buddy.” Was all she said as she walked away. Davy walked over to the table everyone was sitting at. He let out a sigh.
“Looks like Davy’s in love.” Mary commented.
“Yeah for the very first time today.” Micky laughed.
“She is great, she is grand, she is divine.” Davy sight again.
“And it looks like the old Davy charm didn’t work.” Micky laughed again.
“Just wait, by the end of the night she will feel the same way.” Davy once again walked over to the redhead. Everyone watch the scene from the table, they watched as the girl throw her drink in Davy’s face and as Davy stormed off to the bathroom.
“Oh yeah the old Davy charm never fails.” Lilly giggled.

“Mike I’m tired, let’s go. You can drive me home.” Kimmy whined later that night. She grabbed Mike’s shirt and started pulling. Mike got the clue and stood to leave.
“Bye guys, I’ll see you later.” Mike walked away with Kimmy pulling him to move faster.
“I’d like to hit her with my purse.” Lilly said.
“I’d like to give her a punch in the mouth.” Micky added.
“I’d like to watch.” Peter said.
“Great now we don’t have a ride home.” Micky whined.
“Well I’d rather walk then ride with that beast.” Mary said adding her two cents. Davy come over and sat down at the table. He had just tried his tenth attempt to get the redhead.
“No luck?” Mary asked.“I’ve tried all my best lines. Nothing, not even ‘er name.” Davy replied.
“Maybe she doesn’t like shirt guys.” Micky said.
“Shut up Micky, I’m not in the mood.” Davy said with anger.
“Why don’t you go over there and just order a drink, don’t talk to her, don’t look at her.” Peter suggested.
“Alright.” Davy went over to the bar.
“Coke.” He told the man behind the counter.
“Don’t you ever give up shorty?” the redhead asked.
“What? Who are you calling shorty? I just came up to get a drink.” The man gave Davy his drink and Davy turned to leave.
“Hey Davy? I’m Karen.”
“Please to meet you Karen, I’m Davy.”
Davy then returned to the table. “Good plan Petah, ‘er name is Karen.”
“Just keep it up and by the end of the night you won’t be able to keep her off you.” Peter laughed.

Karen ended up leaving ten minutes later.
“Great plan Petah.” Davy pouted.
“Well it would have worked if she stayed longer.” Peter said defending his plan.
The rest of the night Davy sat at the table watching his happy friends dance and laugh.
