Peter and Davy had joined Micky and Mike at the cafeteria. Davy however didn't eat anything. He mostly just picked at his food
"Come on Dave. You need to eat something." Micky frowned.
"Leave him alone Mick. He's worried." Mike patted Micky's back. He gave Davy a concerned glance.
"It'll be okay Davy." Micky said trying to sound hopeful. But the truth was he couldn't blame Davy for being worried. He was worried too.
Time dragged on and the boys went out into the waiting room. Mike flipped through a magazine half looking at it. Davy was chewing on his nails. Micky was half asleep.
Davy glanced over at Peter who had his eyes closed. He was sitting in an Indianstyle fashion.
"What are you doing?" Davy asked.
Peter opened his eyes and sighed. "You ruined my concentration. I was meditating."
"Why?"
"For Sarah. And you." Peter smiled.
"I hope it works. What's taking so long?" Davy sighed.
"Waiting's the worst part shotgun." Mike flashed a smile.
Davy started chewing his nails again.
"Mr. Jones?"
Davy looked up and dropped his hand. He cleared his throat. "That's me."
"We have good news, and some bad news." the doctor explained.
"What's the bad news?" Mike asked.
"We were able to save the vision in her left eye. But she can only see things close up on her right eye."
"But she can see?" Davy asked after a shocked pause.
"Yes." the doctor smiled.
"Yahoo!" Micky screamed.
"Micky! You're in the hospital!" Mike cried.
"Sorry! Sorry!"
"Quite alright. You can go see if you'd like. Her parents are in there now."
Davy turned to his friends and the four cheered. Micky gave Davy a giant hug, lifting him about a foot off the ground.
"See? Told you he's not that heavy. You're weak Mike." Micky teased.
"You're lucky we're in a hospital." Mike shot back.
"I'm going to go see her." Davy grinned.
"I'll go with you." Peter offered.
"Now you won't have to worry about saying anything stupid." Micky grinned.
"Can you slap him Mike? You're closer." Davy rolled his eyes.
"With pleasure." Mike grinned.
Davy and Peter entered Sarah's room. Davy looked at her and grinned.
"Hello."
"Davy?" Sarah asked in shock.
"Yep. And this is Peter."
"Hello." Peter flashed a very dimpled grin.
"You weren't kidding Davy. He does have adorable dimples." Sarah grinned.
Davy laughed as Peter's face turned bright red.
"He's blushing." Davy teased like Peter had done to him. He then took Sarah's hand.
"You look exactly like I pictured you." Sarah said still in shock.
"That's good right?" Davy asked.
"Yes! I love your tan by the way." Sarah grinned.
"Thanks." Davy grinned.
"Yeah, he puts the rest of us to shame." Peter sighed.
"Well if you guys would stay in the sun long enough. You'd get a tan too." Davy teased.
Peter gave him a light tap on the head.
"Would you like to meet Micky and Mike?" Davy asked rubbing his head, and giggling.
"Sure!"
"I'll go get them." Peter grinned.
"I'm so happy! I forgot what things looked like." Sarah smiled.
"You can finally met Micky. I tell you that man has a mop on his head." Davy laughed.
"You weren't kidding!" Sarah cried as Micky and Mike entered the room.
"What'd he say about us?" Mike asked folding his arms.
"I didn't say anything about you Papa Nez." Davy smirked.
"What'd you say about me?" Micky asked.
"I'm hungry. I think I'll go get something to eat." Davy said quickly leaving the room.
"What'd you say about me?!" Micky yelled.
"I think he's just teasing." Peter laughed.
"I know he said something about me. Why else would he have left so quickly?" Micky asked causing everyone to lose it.
