I am sure that I do not have to explain by what I mean with rated "R" stories. But if I must explain it, rated "R" stories often contain adult content consisting of sexual acts with one of The Monkees and not just saying it but stories that are explaining every detail. To me that is just not a very good story and it's a fantasy that I will not tollerate in the group. And any story with the word "F***" will not be allowed either as that word is very unappealing to the eyes.
Rule #2: LANGUAGE:
The "F" word in any form is not tollerated and you will be warned about it only once before being booted. Words like "God D***" or using "Jesus Christ" where He does not belong will be warned once to stop. All other swear words (in or out of stories) should be used moderately. If you think you really need to use those words (which I really prefer you keep the swearing out of the messages to other members if you can) then fine with me but do remember to use them cautiously. However, if you are using them abundantly in messages, I will put your messages on moderation and warn you to cut down. If you do not listen, then you will not be able to post or you will be banned.
Rule #3: MONKEE BASHING NOT ALLOWED:
I have been a part of other groups in the past where the owner/co-owners/moderators have allowed their members to bash their not-so-favorite Monkee. That is not going to be tollerated here in this group. If you are not fond of a particular Monkee then I ask that those comments be kept to yourself about him. Why..? Because other members of the group might like that Monkee and if you are bashing their favorite Monkee, you are asking for a fight. So please refrain from doing any Monkee bashing. It's just not nice and you *could* end up hurting feelings. Remember that The Monkees, themselves, have feelings too.
RULE #4: RESPECTING GROUP OWNERS/MODERATORS/MEMBERS:
Please be respectful to those around you in the group. This includes the group owners/moderators and members. If you find that someone is bothering you, please take it off the board in a private e-mail or take it up with the group owners/moderators. Do not start a fight on the group. This group is for fun...not for squabbling.
RULE #5: GROUP CHAT SESSIONS:
Group chat sessions are currently not going on in the group. However, if you'd like to start a group chat with this group, please let us all know and the chat session will be put up. Enjoy chatting with other members though as you *do* have access to the chat part in the group.
I believe that these rules are not harsh and that they are good to have. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions and/or concerns, take it up with the group owners/moderators.
