After their performance they went to the table and ate their fill. George grabbed a roasted pig's leg and after eating it, threw the bone over his shoulder, not caring where it landed.
"Ow!"
George turned and a young lady with short blonde hair was rubbing her head, where the bone had hit her.
"You still have terrible table manners."
"Roxanne!"
George ran to her and gave her a big hug.
"George, you're choking me!"
"Where have you been? Who have you met? How have you been? What have you been up to?"
"Slow down, George!"
"Sorry, I'm just so happy to see you."
"Are you going to introduce us?" David asked.
"Guys, this is Roxanne Albee, Roxanne, these are Peter Tork, David Jones and Michael Nesmith. She used to live here but now she travels around and she's an actress and that's why I don't have time to introduce you because I want to spend as much time with her as I can until she has to go."
George grabbed Roxanne's hand and they ran off.
"What did he say?" Asked Peter.
"I don't know." Said Mike. "He was speaking so fast I couldn't understand him."
----
George and Roxanne walked to the pond where the fireflies were starting to come out.
"Tell me everything, everything out there that I'm missing."
"I have plenty of time to tell you." She told him.
"You mean you're staying?"
She nodded. George picked her up and swung her around.
"Put me down silly!" She shouted, and then George placed her near the willow tree. Then George felt something sharp press agenst his back. He turned and a knight was pointing his spear at him.
"You are coming with me." Said the knight.
"How come whenever I bring a girl here we're always interrupted?" He said with a big smile.
Soon they were surrounded by knights, pointing their spears at George.
"There's never a dull moment." George said, then they walked him to the castle.
----
The knights took George to a room and pushed him in and he saw that Peter, Michael and David were already there.
"What's going on?" He asked them.
"Ask him." Said Peter, pointing at Don Kirshner.
'Uh oh,' George thought to himself. 'I hope he didn't remember me. But then, why are Michael, Peter and David here?'
George tried to hide his face as much as he could.
"What's going on here?" Asked Michael.
"Have any of you thought about being knights?" He asked them. Michael and David nodded but Peter and George shook their heads.
"Today is your lucky day." Don told them. "All of you are going to be knights for the King."
David smiled, Michael thought about it, Peter rolled his eyes and George looked at the floor.
"I realize that you need to think about it. I'll give you until tomorrow. You may leave now."
They started to leave the room.
"Except you George."
George groaned, then turned to face Don.
"What do you want?" He asked him. Most of the time he was able to keep his emotions in check, but he couldn't hide that he was slightly annoyed.
"I'm surprised that you're out of prison." He told him. "I'm actually surprised that you're even alive."
"Well, you'd better be prepared Don, because I've got a lot more surprises coming."
"Are you going to be one of the King's knights?"
"No, I don't believe in killing." George turned to exit the room.
"Not even to marry Princess Samantha?"
George stopped then turned to face Don.
"What are you talking about?"
"Knights can win a princess' hand in marriage. Unless you want to stick to never killing anything and lose your chance of marrying her."
"I'm not going to kill anybody."
"What if I told the King who you are and what you did?"
George wanted to punch him but instead punched the wall.
"I'll be expecting your answer tomorrow."
George glared at him them left, slamming the door behind him.
"Did you have to do that?!" Valerie shouted at Don. "Do you want them to see you as a bad guy?!"
"I had no choice Valerie, if I didn't do that then there's no way that George would have joined."
"I guess. What about Peter?"
"I'm pretty sure that if his friends decide to do it he will too."
"Me working with a bad guy was never in the script."
"I told you, I'm not a bad guy!!"
"Tell that to the people reading this FanFic!"
Don turned to the camera to face the audience.
"I'm sorry if I seem like a bad guy, I'm just doing my job."
"I'm gonna grab lunch."
Valerie walked off the set and walked over to Peter.
"How're you doin' Pete?"
"Good, what about you Val?"
"I don't want people to see me as a bad girl."
"I'm more worried about Donnie being seen as a bad guy. Besides, later in the story you try to warn us, don't you?"
"Yeah, I guess you're right."
Then Micky ran up to them.
"Guys, the letters are here!"
Everybody on the set gathered around the table where all the letters were piled up. George opened one of the letters and read it to everybody.
"Dear Tory, I think you should have more of David in your story."
Tory, the director, writer and producer, grabbed the letter and read it.
"But I introduced David first!"
"Looks like that's not enough shot-gun." Said Mike.
"Okay, I'll try to put more David in it. What does the next one say?"
George opened the second letter.
"Same thing, you need to put in more David."
Tory grabbed a letter and started to read it.
"Why did you say that you're not trying to make Don a bad guy when you are?"
"I'm not a bad guy!!" Shouted Donnie.
"Well," Said Tory, looking at her watch. "I need to send this story in now; I've been putting it off for awhile."
"I hope they like it." Said Peter.
"I'm sure they will." Said Tory. "I hope. See you tomorrow guys, and we'll work on `Little Pad Of Horrors'."
"Can't we wait till we get better?" Ask Davy, showing the bandages on his hands.
"We can't, the people want to know what's going to happen next."
"Am I gonna die?" Asked Micky.
Tory put on a big smile.
"Maybe."
"I'm outta here!" Micky ran out of the studio.
