I just want to say (type) that in this chapter, and future chapters, I'm not trying to make Don Kirshner a bad guy.
----
"You need to work on your rhyming," Said Michael as they walked home. "Fred doesn't rhyme with den."
"It's harder than it looks." Said George. "Besides, I'm not used to making up stuff on the spot."
"Weren't you a court jester though?" Asked Peter.
George smiled. "Yeah, but we always planned our jokes ahead of time."
Michael and Peter said their goodbyes then David and George headed toward the Dolenz house.
"I think I'll head for the Inn and see if they have any rooms now," Said David. "Unless you want to tie our wrists together."
"No, you can go." Said George. David was a little surprised.
"Finally realized that I'm not a spy?" Asked David.
"I was pretty sure you weren't a spy to begin with." Replied George.
"Then why did you tie our wrists together?" David asked him.
"Better safe than sorry." George put on a big smile.
"It's written all over your face that you're hiding something." David said, shaking his finger at him.
"Okay Mommy." George said in a kid voice, and then he put on a serious face.
"I'll tell you, but first you have to promise that you won't tell Mom."
"Aright, now what is it?"
George took a deep breath then explained.
"Mom said that if you came with us to the party then she'd make a giant dinner while we were away."
"A big dinner? That's why we were tied to each other?" David couldn't believe his ears. "All that, having people stare at us, just to get a big dinner?"
"I would kill for one of Mom's giant dinners." George told him. "And if you leave now there will be more for me."
"You're crazy." He laughed then they said their goodbyes.
----
"I'm home!" Said George as he entered the house.
"Where's David?" Debbie asked.
"He's going to stay at the Inn."
"That's too bad." Said Coco.
"Why?" George asked.
"Because Mom was making the giant dinner because David is here and she decided to not start cooking until you and David came home." Said Coco with a smile on her face. "I guess she'll have to cook a smaller dinner then planned."
George ran out of the house, found David and almost dragged him to the house.
----
"Thank you for the dinner," Said David as he got up from his chair. "But I must leave now."
"Please stay." Said Coco.
"Yeah," Said George. "With you around Mom will cook giant meals everyday!"
"Nice try." Said David with a chuckle. After they said their goodbyes George helped Coco clear the table.
"Are you sure it's okay to let him leave?" Asked Coco. "He might be a spy for the King."
"I doubt it." Said George. "It's like Samantha said, the King wouldn't go through the trouble of finding somebody both Samantha and I don't know."
"Why did you suspect him before but you don't now?" She asked.
"I thought that maybe Don Kirshner had sent him but at the party I found out that he's in another Kingdom."
Coco still looked a little worried. George took her two lips firmly within his hands and pushed them up.
"Don't worry, the smile doctor is here."
