Chapter 1

Peter was making breakfest when Davy entered the pad.

"Where is everyone?" he asked.

"Mike's at the store, and Micky's still sleeping." Peter explained.

"Do you want me to wake him up?"

"Sure." Peter said.

Davy walked into Mike's and Micky's room and seen Micky sleeping peacefully in bed. His hair was everywhere and he was snoring. Davy felt a smile form on his face. He seen a piece of fuzz on Micky's pajama shirt.

"Micky! Don't move!" he cried.

Micky's eyes popped open. "Why? Is there a spider on me? I hate those things!"

"I'll get it off. Don't worry." Davy said. He wiped the fuzz off Micky's shirt and giggled. "There you're safe."

"You mean I'm sweating bullets thinking a spider's on me, when it's really a piece of fuzz! And from your expression you knew what it was all along!"

Davy laughed really hard. "You should've seen your face!"

"I'm going to give you until the count of five to run. One...two...five!" Micky yelled jumping out of bed.

He and Davy ran downstairs.

"Get back here midget!" Micky yelled.

Peter and Davy ran outside.

"What did you do?" Peter asked.

Davy just laughed.

"Whatever it was, he's going to get you back." Peter said picking up a red ball and tossing it to Davy.

"I know. But it was worth it." Davy said giggling.

He and Peter tossed the ball back and forth, when Peter accidently hit the ball too hard and it flew over Davy's head.

The ball landed by a pretty girl with blond hair.

"Excuse us. Sorry about that." Davy said. Peter was behind him.

"It's okay." she said handing the ball to Davy.

"Thanks." Davy said looking at Peter who had that far away look in his eyes.

"I know that look." Davy thought to himself with a smile. "He's in love.

He turned to the girl. "I'm Davy Jones. That's Peter Tork. You are?"

"Amber Smith. Nice to meet you two." She shook both their hands.

Poor Peter couldn't speak so Davy had to do all the talking. They chatted awhile and Amber left leaving her number for them to call her.

"Bye." Davy said waving. She waved back.

"I can't believe it. I choked. I froze." Peter said with a groan.

"Don't worry about it. She likes you. I can tell." Davy grinned. "Maybe you can even go on a date with her."

Peter sighed. "I don't know anything about dating. I've always been really shy around girls. I've never even kissed a girl yet."

"Never?" Davy said in a surprised voice.

Peter shook his head. "What's it like?"

Davy smiled. "Well you see fireworks if it's good. Look don't worry. Just be yourself."

"That's easy for you to say." Peter sighed.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"It means you're charming, good looking, girls are drawn to you like a magnet. Me, I'm-"

"Don't you dare put yourself down." Davy said in a firm voice. "You have alot of qualites. You're funny, kindhearted, and alot more than you give yourself credit for."

Peter smiled. "Thank you Davy."

"You're welcome. I'll teach you how to act around girls and when you're ready you can go on a date with her."

Peter sighed."Okay."

"Hey guys! I can use some help!" Mike yelled.

Peter and Davy entered the pad and helped Mike put the food away.

"Watch it Davy." Mike warned as Davy put the hamburger in the freezer. There was a fake rat inside.

"Oh no. A fake rat." Davy said sarcastically.

"Dang it!" Micky yelled.

Davy rolled his eyes. "Oh come on. You can do better than that."

They put everything away, then fixed sandwiches.

"A gentleman always pushes in the lady's chair." Davy explained.

Peter sat down and Davy pushed in his chair. "Okay, now it's your turn."

Peter pushed the chair into far. "Ow! My ribs!" Davy groaned.

Peter covered his mouth. "Gosh, I'm sorry Davy!"

"It's okay Pete." Davy groaned as he pushed the chair back.

"What are you guys doing?" Mike asked.

"I'm showing Peter how to act around girls." Davy explained.

"Who's going to teach you?" Micky joked.

"Ha-ha." Davy said sarcastically.

"There was this really cute girl at the beach. Her name is Amber. She's here visiting her Aunt. She's amazing." Peter said smiling.

"So, ask her out." Micky said.

Peter's smile dropped. "I can't. Everytime I try to talk I freeze."

"Well listen to Davy. He can help you." Mike said patting Peter's back.

Micky stood up to put his plate in the sink.

"Alright. What's next?" Peter asked.

"Well girls love compliments." Davy said. Micky walked by. "Hey, Micky. Come here. We need your help. Act like a girl."

Micky sat next to Peter. "Yes?" he asked in a high pitched voice. He batted his eyes.

"Okay. Pretend he's Amber. What would you say?" Davy asked.

"Amber?" Peter asked.

"Yes muffin?"

Davy giggled.

"Ingore him. Yes dumpling?"

"I...can't do this." Peter said leaving the room.

"Where are you going?! Tell me about my eyes. Aren't they pretty?" Micky asked.

Davy wiped the tears from his face from laughing so hard. He heard a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." he said. He answered the door. "Amber?"

Peter walked next to Davy.

"Hi. I was wondering if you're doing anything tomorrow?" Amber asked.

Peter tried to speak but no words came out. Davy quickly covered for him. "Us? No."

"Great. Would you like to go to the movies or something?" she asked.

"Sure. Sounds good." Davy said smiling. He gave Peter alittle push.

"Sounds great!" Peter yelped.

"Okay. I'll be by around eleven. Bye." she waved.

"I blew it didn't I?" Peter asked after Amber left.

Davy patted his shoulder.

"Um Dave. I'm not suppose to say anything, but check under your bed." Mike warned.

Davy sighed as he entered his and Peter's room. He could hear Micky giggling. Davy looked under his bed and pulled out a plastic skeleton.

"Ha-ha." he said sarcastically.

"You're no fun!" Micky yelled.

"I'm sorry. But I'm not that easy to scare. You're just going to have to try harder. Davy sang.

"Oh, I'll get you. Don't worry." Micky threated.

Davy laughed. "Whatever you say Mick."
