(Peter was walking around his house eating a sandwich when he got a phone call from the school...)
Peter: Hello..?
**Man's Voice: Mr. Thorkelson? This is Principal Anthony Guard from San Francisco High School. Could you come to the school please?
Peter: What's this reguarding?
**Principal Guard: It's reguarding your daughter Allie and her boyfriend John.
Peter: Um...I was just going to eat my lunch but yeah; I'll be right up.
**Principal Guard: Thank you sir; and if you could bring your wife with you it would be a good idea.
Peter: Yes sir. Thank you. (Peter hung up the phone in concern; sighing as he walked his sandwich back to the kitchen) JENNY..?! (A beautiful strawberry-blonde haired woman appeared from the stairway)
Jenny: What's up babe?
Peter: Something's going on. The school just called me. Allie is sitting in the Principal's office with John.
Jenny: Allie is...?! It's usually Anthony.
Peter: Yeah I know. Let's go!
Jenny: If you don't get something to eat, you're going to get sick.
Peter: I tried to eat but just as I got my sandwich in my mouth, the principal called. I'll eat when I get home.
Jenny: No, you'll *eat* on the way out the door! (Jenny put the sandwich back into his hands) Let's go! (Jenny grabbed the keys and took Peter out the door)

(Peter and Jenny arrived at the door of the office and saw Allie and John holding hands but neither were saying anything...)
Peter: Allie, this had better be good news! (Allie had her head down and wouldn't talk)
Jenny: Allie, what's going on? (Allie wouldn't talk)
Peter: I'm usually a pretty patient dad am I not? (She just looked at him briefly before putting her head down; to John) John, what's going on?
John: I'm not saying anything. (The principal came out the door at that time)
Principal Guard (Hand out shaking Peter's): Thanks for coming you two. Let's go in my office and talk! (Peter and Jenny followed the principal into the office where he closed the door so that nobody else could hear the conversation)
Allie (Now in tears): I'm in a lot of trouble, John. Once my dad finds out we are going to be made to leave each other alone.
John: Maybe your dad won't get mad?
Allie: My dad isn't *like* your dad. They may be friends but they are two different dads all together. Your dad can keep his cool with you for the most part. My dad...let's just say I'm not ready for the punishment when I get home.
John: I'm sorry about this.
Allie: You've nothing to be sorry about, John. We both wanted this and we both got caught. Don't blame yourself when there are two of us involved.

(Inside the office things are *not* so hot...)
Principal Guard: Mr. and Mrs. Thorkelson...
Peter: Please call me Peter.
Principal Guard: Peter, normally I call you up here because Anthony has issues but this time it's about Allie and her boyfriend John. His dad is coming but he's going to be late so I thought I'd tell you two first. During 3rd period, I was handed a report from three diffrent sets of teachers. John was missing from all three morning classes and Allie was missing from hers. When a student or students are missing I go looking for them and if *I* can't find them I send other teachers looking for them. Mr. James found them in auditorium and I'm not going to tell you what they were caught doing.
Jenny: You've *got* to be kidding me..?!
Principal Guard: I wish I *was* kidding, Mrs. Thorkelson, because Allie is one of the brightest students I have. She's always handing in her reports, she's head of the student council and she's a straight-A student. John is our top athlete and he never causes trouble so I'm kind of disappointed in the both of them.
Peter (Upset): Did someone actually...see them?
Principal Guard: Yes and it's on the cameras. I'm sorry, Mr...Peter, but I must suspend the both of them for two weeks.
Peter: Suspend...? Can't you just give them a warning?
Principal Guard: They already *had* that warning a week ago.
Peter: What do you mean a week ago...?! If they were doing this a week ago why wasn't I informed...?!
Principal Guard: They didn't do anything a week ago. They were only caught kissing in the halls and while that's not a crime, it *is* against our student policy. I gave them both a warning about it and then they do this. I can't let them go. They *must* be put on suspension for two weeks.
Peter (Sighing): This is just...(Peter angrily opened the door) Allison Bethany Thorkelson, get in here!! (She stood up and walked to her dad) What were you thinking..?! (She didn't say anything because she hated the sound of her father's angry voice) Young lady, you are only 16! (To the Principal) I will take care of this and I promise you that my daughter will *not* do such a thing again! (To John) John..? *You* are banned from my daughter until further notice!
Allie (In a protesting voice): DAD-DY NO-HO!!
Peter: Allison, I am *not* going to put up with such actions! John is banned from you and if you do not listen to me, I will take you from the public school, put you in the all girls school to where you'll never see him again! Is that what you want?!
Allie (Tears going down her face): What I want is to be with my boyfriend! You can't keep me from him! You just can't!
Peter: I can, I will and I am going to! Get moving to the car because you are grounded for the two weeks you are out of school! (To the Principal) I'm so sorry about this. I promise you it won't happen again.
Principal Guard: It's okay, Peter. (To Allison) I'm disappointed in you and John. You knew the school rules, I gave you a fair warning last week and you did this. It really breaks my hear, Allie. (To John) Your dad said he'd be here...
Man's Voice: I'm already here! (To Peter) What's this about Peter? Peter: Why don't you ask your son, Mike? He seems to have some kind of infactuation with my daughter and although I have willingly allowed them to date, I...well I'm too upset to talk about this. You keep John away from Allie! He is to never set foot in my home again!
Jenny (Nervous voice): Peter...
Peter: Shut-up, Jenny! (To Mike) We used to be best friends; why couldn't you have just kept John home like you'd always talked about doing?
Mike: 'Cuz John wanted to go to a public school after his mom died ok? I can't homeschool him like Lily did. What happened?
Peter: Your son and my daughter...let's just say that they are no longer little innocent kids ok? They've been suspended for two weeks because they were caught in the auditorium together!
Mike (Looking at his son and then Peter): I'm sorry, man. Ever since his mother died, he's been giving me grief; but it takes two to tango so don't go pinning the blame on just John. Allie and John have been dropping hints for quite some time but you've been too busy to notice.
Peter: Like h*** I haven't noticed! I've been watching their every move. Why do you think John hasn't been able to take her out lately? I saw the look in Allie's eyes and anytime he'd ask to take her somewhere I wouldn't let them go.
Jenny: Peter, it's getting late. You and Mike are due in the studio in one hour.
Peter: No; I'm cancelling the studio out. I've got more important matters to take care of! (To Mike) I'll meet you in two weeks to start recording. Maybe by then we can get a hold of the other two.
Mike: Understandable. You want me to do it?
Peter: Yeah; I think you'd better. (To his daughter in an angry voice) Get your a** moving! Now! (Peter gripped his wife's hand and she hated the feel of it)
Jenny: Peter let go! (Peter wouldn't let go and Mike took notice to it)
Mike: Pete, look; kids will be kids and we can't correct what they did but...
Peter: Mike..? Shut-up! (Peter, forcefully, took his wife and daughter out the door to their car)
Mike: John Robert Nesmith, what in the world would possess you and Allie to...in school of all places?
John: We thought it would be fun; and it was. Then we got caught and now...well I kinda feel bad.
Mike: You're grounded for two weeks like she is. (To the principal) My apologies for his actions.
Principal Guard: Mr. Nesmith, I have put in a request to children's services to have your son evaluated. It has nothing to do with you but since he won't accept any kind of council, I don't have a choice.
Mike: You get him taken from me and I'll sue your school! My son has been through a lot. Losing Lily was hard on him and...well I just don't think it's right of you to involve others that have no business being involved.
Principal Guard: Calm down, sir. He's not going to be removed or anything. They're just going to try and figure out why he doesn't want anyone to council him. (The principal wrote something down) Call if you need anything ok? I know how it feels to lose a mom at a young age. (He gave a small smile to Mike and John) See you in two weeks John!
John: Does that mean I can't be in the homecoming game?
Principal Guard: I'll think about that and let you know ok?
Mike: C'mon, John! We've got something to talk about! (Mike took his son out the door)
