"Hello! Ready to go to the movies?" Micky asked.
His girlfriend Jennifer sighed. "Look Micky, um I don't think we should see each other anymore."
Micky's face fell. "Why not?"
"Because you're nothing but a clown! I mean you're not serious about anything!"
"I'm serious about how I feel about you. About us. I care about you. I want to make this work." Micky said sounding determined.
"I'm sorry Micky, but I want a serious boyfriend. And I don't think you can be." Jennifer said closing the door.
Micky left feeling heartbroken and angry.
Is that how everyone sees me? he couldn't help but wonder.
"Aren't you eating?" Peter asked later on that night.
"I'm not hungry." Micky mumbled.
"But you love tacos." Mike frowned.
"Sorry but I'm not hungry. I'm going to bed." Micky muttered.
"Are you feeling okay?" Peter asked sounding concerned.
"Fine. Goodnight." Micky said heading upstairs.
He changed into his striped gray and blue pajamas and sighed.
You're just a clown. rang through his head.
Just a clown huh? Well not anymore. I'll show her. I'll show all of them. I'm not just a clown. And tomorrow they'll all see that.
