It does not get easier.
"This really means a lot to us. Here's her luggage and Kevin's things" Kait said as she put the large diaper bag around Mike's neck. "And if she doesn't behave, bribery works wonders". Liu said smiling. "Oh, Kevin should be waking up soon-"
"CRASH!!!!" Came the sound from the bandstand as Micky's symbol fell to the floor. May, unfazed punched the symbol playfully.
"Don't do that, May" Liu called out to her as a horrified Micky watched. Of course, the crash of the symbol woke the little boy whose screams of discontent could be heard down the hall. Kait tried to comfort Kevin as Peter attempted to detach Mike from the diaper bag that mercilessly gripped his neck.
"All this and they haven't even left yet" Davy observed as he called May over.
"We packed some books for her" Liu said to Davy. "Just read her a story, she likes looking at the pictures too" he added.
Davy smiled. "How hard could that be?" he said aloud.
"Don't ask" Mike said finally freed. Kait still couldn't comfort Kevin.
"Where's his binky?" she asked.
"FIND THE BINKY!" Micky shouted with his arm in the air.
"What's a binky?" Mike asked confused. "Never mind, I don't want to know" he answered himself shaking his head.
"His binky is in the bassinet". Liu said. "Kait, we gotta go- check in time was over 2 hours ago".
"Um, what is a `binky'?" Mike asked Liu.
"Oh that's his pacifier" Liu replied as he tried to hurry his wife alone. The couple finally said their goodbyes.
"We'll be back Sunday- maybe earlier" Kait said as they left.
"Please make it earlier" Peter quietly pleaded.
As the guys settled into their new routine for the next 48 hours, Mike developed a plan. "Listen guys, there's four of us and two of them. We could handle this".
"Right Mike" Peter agreed as he was forced to keep Kevin bouncing or endure the wrath of the child's annoyance.
"Here's my plan," Mike continued. "Peter and Davy, you are in charge of May and me and Micky will be in charge of Kevin." The guys nodded in agreement convinced that Mike's plan was a good one.
They were wrong.
