There are now several companies willing to pay you to be on the web. Below I discuss 14 separately. Note: I
have ranked them in order of quality, but you can join all of them if you like.
Note that in all cases, there is never any charge for anything, and most companies place some form of an
advertisement either in your web browser or on your desktop.Note: Although individually these companies don't pay an extremely large amount (except the first few might when they are
released), combined they will bring in a lot of cash.

A Comparison Chart of 14 of the Companies Who Will Pay You To Surf

* Some services require that a web browser be open and in the foreground. Others will allow you to run the banner with other
programs (word processors, etc.) as long as you're connected to the internet.
** Most services will stop rotating ads if your computer is idle for a certain amount of time.
*** "Possible Monthly Income" is based on the following information: you and your referrals browse an average of 30 hours a
month; you and your referrals each refer 2 people. Where applicable, a $20 cpm (cost per thousand ads) is used. These
numbers are a lot more realistic than those used by many of these companies on their websites. (Note: For
UtopiAD, a value of 60 hours a month was used, because UtopiAd can be used for an unlimited amount of time, and you don't
have to be browsing the internet, just connected.)
**** Surfing 2 Cash has three different payment plans, "Preferred Member", "Executive Member", and "Senior Member". The
"Preferred Member" plan has 4 referral levels with the pricing show above for those four. The "Executive Member" plan
has 5 levels, with the pricing shown above. To be an "Executive Member", you must refer 3 other people in 30 days,
who must join. The "Senior Member" plan has 6 levels, with the pricing shown above. To be a "Senior Member", you must
refer 3 people in 30 days, and set the Surfing 2 Cash website as your homepage (so it is the first page that loads
each time you open your web browser). You obviously don't have to stay at the site while browsing. All data for this company
on this page is based on the "Senior Member" (6-level) plan.
*****Dot-Ad pays in percentages, so these figures are based on $20 cpm (a slightly conservative
estimate). And yes, you read the text correctly: once you get the the 2nd level of referrals and lower, you get paid a
fraction of a cent per hour of their web surfing.
I describe the companies in more detail below.
The first three companiess, Epipo,
Desktop Horizons, and
DealViewer are all tied for best program, in my opinion.
They are all EXTREMELY lucrative, and are similar in every way. They may as well be clones. As long as you plan to be able
to refer at least 2 or 3 people, these three probably will make the most money for you. These companies are still rather
new, so you can get in closer to "the ground floor."
The advantages of these 3 companies are:
The earning potential seems to be by far the greatest.
The websites are crisp and clean
They modify your existing browser, so you can continue to use your favorite one.
The disadvantages of these companies are:
They are still working on the software, so I cannot say much about them, but they should be out soon.
Fourth places goes to UtopiAD, mostly due to the fact that
currently the number of hours you can be on is unlimited. They use a slightly different formula to arrive at how much you
are paid, but it is comparable. They pay the most per hour for surfing with no referals, which is great for people who
use their computer many hours a day.

Running fifth is Value Pay, that will pay you to modify your current
browser so that it shows a little ad on the top. The advantages of this company are:
The Pay is the good (per hour) if you don't refer anyone. However, the amount they pay for
referrals is a bit less than the ones above. If you plan to refer at least 2 people, Epipo and DH will probably make
more for you. Of course, you can sign up for all of them!
They let you customize the ads you see. Also, they seem to be a bit more lax regarding whether you are actively
viewing or not.
This program is also for the entire globe.
The Disadvantages:
The limit is $50 a month from your use (there is no limit to the amount you can make from referals). This
equates to about a 55 hour limit ($50 divided by $.90/hr), which isn't bad at all. Besides, that's is 50 dollars more
(not counting bonuses for referrals) than you would otherwise have had!
It takes a few weeks after submitting to get your software, unlike the above site that is ready when you are.

AllAdvantage.com is one of the oldest, most experienced
companies. They claim that last month, they sent out checks of more than $1000! Of all the companies that will let you
start making money immediately, this one is the best bet. I would recommend it to everybody.
The advantages of this company are:
Their software works with the major browsers.
The company is old enough for real, live people, to have had big checks sent to them.
The company has solid profitability.
The disadvantages of this company are:
There really aren't any disadvantages except that there is currently a
25 hour limit (but their site says it will be 40 hours soon).

Desktop Dollars is another company that
puts a small toolbar on the bottom of your screen However, they indicate on the website that you don't actually have to be
surfing to make money. That is to say that it is easier to keep the bar active when you are not (e.g. you are
sleeping.)

Coming in 8th is a Go-To World, who will pay you
to surf the net on their browser, which you can download for free. You don't really have to use their browser, however;
there is a option to instead display only an ad banner which is always on top of the programs you have running. It isn't
large, and you can move it to different parts of the screen so it doesn't get in the way.
The Advantages of this one over the others are:
It lets you start making money quickly, as you download the software immediately.
Most other companies either send you the software via e-mail or notify you when the software is available
to download.
This opportunity is for people all over the globe, not just in the U.S.
The disadvantages of this company compared to others are:
The browser or banner is hard to keep active unless you are actually using your computer (i.e. you can't turn it on and
go to sleep and have it record 8 hours of time for you)
They will only pay you for 40 hours of being on the web each month.
The pay is not as good if you are not referring people much.
But it is one of the few companies that doesn't require you to be surfing the web. You can earn money while reading email,
using a word processor, etc.

The next best deal comes from the company that is in some sense the most interesting one regarding their methodology.
Spedia.net uses a completely different
idea to bring you advertisements. The thing about this company that makes it fourth is
that the money you get referrals, etc. stops after only one or two levels (instead of 4 or 5). Other than that, this
company has it all:
Unlimited time per month
Immediate Availability
No downloading necessary
They even have a way for you to get paid while you are offline
They have very detailed statistics available about where and when you get your credit
There are other ways to earn credit than simply surfing by using the virtual domain they set up
However, they are somewhat ambiguous about how much they will actually pay you. They claim they will pay $.54/hr for time
logged in September, so that's what I based the data on.

The Next company places a little "cash console" (just an add bar) at the bootom of your screen. Currently, all I have
to say is that this company is very clear in its membership terms that the number of hours people are eligible to make
money (currently 10) is volatile. Also, this site lets you sign up for various "pay levels" based
on how many people you refer, etc. It is, of course, all free.
The next company, which garners 12th place, is Hitmaster.
It is the only company that does not pay you to see ads per se. This company pays you to visit sites. Thus it is the
only one that really controls where you surf, but they only make you visit 3 sites a day,
and you are not required to spend any time at a site after visiting it, so it really isn't bad at all. In terms of time
commitment to get your "MAX" it is the best, since you only invest a couple minutes a day. However, there is one more
"catch" you don't get paid for your clicks---you get paid for your referree's clicks. The reason why they click is to keep
their account active. In the end, everyone gets an incentive for clicking. You don't get credit for your account unless
you have visited a site within the last 8 hours. The fact that you MUST refer others to get paid means that your downline
may grow faster than it would in other programs. There is no reason not give this program a shot, but it admittedly is a
bit different. The Advantages of this company are:
It is immediately available and very easy to join.
Referees are motivated to join.
Very little time requirement to "max" out.
The disadvantages are:
No profit unless you refer people (which is rather easy to do)

Running 13th overall in quality is Dotad.com. This company places a small ad in the corner of the page.
In terms of amount paid, etc., this is one of the worst. The advantages:
There is no limit to the number of hours you can be on the web.
The pay a rather high percentage (75%) of the amount advertisers pay them.
The disadvantages:
Currently they are the slowest regarding how long it takes them to get be ready to download (they say 7 weeks, so
you should sign up as soon as possible)
The referral program makes the total profitability rather low.
However it is, of course, free, so there's no reason not to sign up to earn some extra cash.
