Time to send a message!
As many of you know the
RIAA has been suing those
people who have been sharing files over the internet, whether that be
from Kazaa, Bear share or some other type of file sharing peer-to-peer
software. They even think they have scared everyone enough to use there
new program called "the clean slate program"
I recently read a news article where the
RIAA even sued a 12 year
old girl. Now that is just overkill to the extreme. Also suing college
students, they are already paying to much for school so suing someone
that has no money is not the answer.
They say CD's are cheaper now ($12.75US), I live
in Canada and personally never see CD's below $18.00CAN and that is too
expensive. Truth be told artist make most their money doing concerts
and tours and I see no reason not to lower the price allot more say
$10.00CAN or $8.00US.
CD's are not the only problem, going to see
movies in theaters have also become outrageously expensive. I can
remember the good old days when going to the theater was a common thing
for us young people, but now we can not afford it and our parents can
not
afford to give us 10-20 to see a movie.
If so many people are breaking this law that
means it's time for the law to change. I mean I am 100% sure Eminem,
Metallica, etc... can afford not to be such cheap bastards, really they
don't need to live in 3Million dollar houses do they? I am sure they
will survive living like us common folk.
THE PLAN
This is all outrageous and it is time for us to
send them a message! And here is how we are going to do it. For 1 week
we are going to buy as little CD's as possible, we are going to go
see/rent as little movies as possible. This 1 week will be
October 19th-25th 2003 We are going to send
them a message.....
CATER TO US WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CATER TO YOU! WE
ARE THE CUSTOMER AND THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!
Send this web page to everyone you know, get this
all over the internet.
