What's the meeting about:
1. Welcome message from club coordinators and our absent guest Assistant Principal of Mathematics Jie Zhang.
2. Notebook Content: It was agreed upon by the members that the $5 membership budget from each member (part of the $10 fee) would be used to purchase a half-inch binder and cover other notebook expenses. The notebook will be updated as time goes on. Members will receive papers through the mail or through our website to be added in the binder.
3. Website Content: Website due on July 5th.
4. The following events were proposed for the future:
Dinner with a dance
Six Flags/Astroland
Baseball games
Movies
Plays
*Note: There will be an event at least once a month. Events do not need to be formal. Members are willing to chip in during events.
5. Committees: The intention of committees is to emphasize that the Elites club is the members’ club—neither Miguel’s nor Mike’s club. No member is required to help in organizing the notebook or website and other club duties; it is entirely voluntary Members are welcome to “host” events and projects.
6. Information forms were distributed. Information will be used for the notebook and website. (If you were not present at the meeting, contact Miguel or Michael. They will send you one.)
