Ads Are
annoying Why are Ads
even around. The perfect answer would be "Greed."
What are benefits of displaying Ads: Websites generate
revenue through displaying Ads, some which are perfectly fine if
that is the only way to keep the website around. Another benifit
is for the Advertiser who gains just about as much or even more
revenue, when the consumer finds the product useful and buys
it.
What are the side effects of displaying Ads: Now days
people are turned off by ads, for one It slows down the loading
time of a webpage, secondly advertiser abuse the privelage by
force feeding ads. The Internet is Just like TV most people
dislike commercials disrupting from watching their TV show.
Another side affect is too much, too much ads is "too much" to
put up with. The funny part about it all is that the advertisers
believe that's the best way to get their product sold is to shove
it in the consumers face.
What can We do? :We can block them. Show advertisers that
this is not acceptable.
This
is a test for the most common practices of using ads, You should
be seeing no annoying "Ad images" and any Ads supplied by
Angelfire if you have accurate Ad blocking software installed. I
can't guarentee how accurate my tests are since my test are based
on software that uses filters.
