The Buer Theology Project.

What is The Buer Theology Project?

I would suggest that the whole process of discussing theological matters should take place in public, and that everyone should be allowed to partake. All it would take was one website, "The Satanic Theology Project" (or whatever), listing a series of relevant topics, and linking all the participant websites (containing texts on the various topics). Discussion ought to take place in a forum such as this one, and whenever (of *if* ever) people agree on something, important posts should be made public on the main website. Someone would have to be in charge, obviously, to make sure that it doesn't end in total chaos. The only rules for partaking should be that 1) all websites should link to relevant articles on other websites (even if the writer does not agree), and to the main site. 2) Everyone should be ready, able and willing to do some serious work, and to listen and learn. And 3) Everyone should behave in a civil manner. We would not be working against each other; we would be working together to further a common cause. If one - then - would like to know something about theistic Satanism, or if anyone had a question, he or she wouldn't have to go ask a member of some hermetic and secret club (who - I agree - undoubtedly would have some kind of agenda). He or she could simply surf the ring, reading various interpretations, and go to the main site in order to read what we - *if*, etc. - had been able to agree upon. If still in doubt, he or she could join the forum.

In order to further serious theological discussion the Buer Project aims to present a series of texts regarding theistic Satanist theology, written by different people, and presention a variety of possible interpretations. (More to come.)

Why Buer?

According to A.E. Waite, the demon Buer "teaches philosophy, logic, the virtues of herbs, &c." Considering the nature of this project, the name Buer seemed appropriate.

How to submit a text.

Place your text on a web page, and send me the web site address by e-mail. Do not send the text, just send me the web site address. Write me couple of lines explaining what the text is all about, and kindly suggest a project category for your text. If you do not get a reply right away, please be patient.

Rules for participation.

1. Text (essay, comment, etc.) must deal with theistic Satanist theology.
2. Topic must apply to one of the project categories. Suggest new category by sending an e-mail.
3. Text must be placed on a public web page, and not in a members only forum. Pay sites are not accepted.
4. Web page must have banner link or visible text link to this page. Text link should say "This page is part of The Buer Theology Project. Go to the project main page." Link should go to http://www.angelfire.com/alt2/darkmatter/buer.html. Here's the HTML:

5. Text must be written by you. If you didn't write it, don't submit it.
6. Text should be worth it. Good writing is appreciated; good thinking even more so.
7. Texts promoting illegal activities will not be accepted.
8. Once your web page has been submitted to the project, please do not change the URL.
9. If your text for any reason is not accepted, or if the link to your web page is later on deleted from the project main page, please just accept it. If you'd like to have some constructive criticism, please ask for it. Once you've done some more work on your text, and you feel that it have improved, feel free to re-submit it.
10. Please notice that when you submit your text to the project, you remain the copyright owner. We will not copy your text; we just link it. You can ask to have the link to your text removed any time.
11. The Buer Theology Project is currently coordinated by Reginald Osiris, the Dark Matter admin. That's me. For obvious reasons I cannot promise you that I will be able to stay on as coordinator for ever. If at one point I feel that it has become necessary for me to hand over the job to someone else, I will do so. By submitting your text to the project you are giving me permission to do so.
