PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN BARS 1/4 Cup Butter (this is 1/2 a stick, I use 3/4 of a stick {and I have a friend that uses a whole stick} - makes them fudgier) 1/2 C Natural Peanut Butter 1 and 3/4 Cups Protein Powder (I used chocolate of course!) 4 ounces softened cream cheese 1 Tablespoon vanilla (I use 2) 2 Tablespoons or 12 to 16 packets of Splenda Optional: 1/2 C chopped nuts Melt butter in microwave. Add PB and softened cream cheese. Mix together with a fork in a bowl. Add protein powder, vanilla, splenda and nuts. Stir well. Note: Expect it to be very crumbly. Press firmly into an 8 x 8 pan. Slice into 12 pieces and put whole pan into freezer. Remove when bars are firm. Remove bars and place into zip-loc bag in the freezer. Nutritional Info: 9 carbs with 1 gram of fiber, 31 grams of protein.
