Health Care Language and Employment Program


As a result of our successful collaborations with the Literacy Council, The Institute for Caregiver Education, Spruce Manor, RACC, and other organizations, the Hispanic Center was recently awarded a state Critical Job Training Grant to offer our unique Health Care Vocational ESL and Certified Nursing Assistant training program to fifty displaced workers with limited English proficiency. Referrals are being accepted currently and classes will begin in early 2003.
