About The Band

Sublime consists of 3 guys, Brad Nowell: Vocals and Guitarist, Eric Wilson: Bass, and Bud Gaugh: Drums. They started in Long Beach, CA. where they would play in garages, and do shows here and there. Theyre recording history began in 1992, when they teamed up with skunk records and recorded theyre first album, '40 oz. TO FREEDOM.' They had no distributor but still mananged to sell over 30,000 copies. Sublime's music is truly unique. You could tell how close the three of them were, just through listening to them play together. Every song was always filled with passion.

Sublime is a mix between rock, funk, ska, punk, reggae, and rap sort of mix. It is the most talented and diverse type of music ever. Sublime started theyre first gig back in the summer of 1988, and even though that was almost 2 decades ago, they are still one of the most popular bands around today. Brad, Eric and Bud pretty much started the band just to have a good time and party. They had no idea that making a few C.D's and selling them on the street, would make them world wide someday.
