Entering nowhere

It's hard to start a conversation about anything without using "I" or "my"

Enjoy your worries while you can...because someday you may not have them.

"I love Nature partly because she is not man, but a retreat from him. None of his institutions control or pervade her. There a different kind of right prevails. In her midst I can be glad with an entire gladness. if this world were all man, I could not stretch myself, I should lose all hope. He is constraint, she is freedom to me. He makes me wish for another world. She makes me content with this.(Henry David Thoreau)

The tipi in the woods

"There is some of the same fitness in a man's building his own house that there is in a bird’s building of a nest."

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.(Henry David Thoreau)

Spring 2005ish was the date of the cabin groundbreaking party on my family's property, June 4 2011 was the day I cut a path through tornado damaged trees to get back to where it all started.
