Welcome
to Hunger in Washington, a web site made by a group of students from
Henry M. Jackson High School. Due to layoffs in companies like
Boeing and the overall recession in America, we feel that hunger
is an important issue in Washington State that must be addressed. In
this site we give facts about hunger in Washington/ the reasons hunger
exsists in Washington, solutions to the problem Washington is
facing, ways you can help out individually, a journal recording
actions we have taken to address the issue, and a little information
about the webmasters behind the site and why it was made in the
