Speed Demon Project

The Speed Demon Project:

The Speed Demon project will begin in June of 2003, with a 1983 Pontiac Firebird, and a Chevy Small Block 350. The projects goal is to turn an old engine into a Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde motor. This simply means that it will be a mild mannered street motor, or a wild demon wherever and whenever you want it to be. With a very small budget, we can't afford to go out and buy a bunch of new performance parts. The plan is to only buy things that we NEED, the rest will just be cleaned and redone to add power and torque.

The Firebird pumps a whopping(HA HA yeah right) 105 Peak HP, with a Chevy 2.8L(173ci) V6, and controls all that power through a 5-speed manual.(I know, it is a very weak car.)
The Speed Demon Project will also be rebuilding a T-5 5-speed for the 350, and putting in a new clutch. When the project is started, I will be updating the pages every day, and adding pictures every day. When I buy the engine, I will take pictures of it right away, then after I take each part off(the major parts, not the wiring and hoses).
