Lunar Eclipses

These eclipses are completely safe to watch with your naked eyes.

You can use a pair of binoculars if you choose to, and you can even take good pictures of them.

Solar Eclipses

These are the eclipses you have to watch out for. The solar eclipse is very dangerous.

The sunlight will burn your retinas causing blindness, since there are no pain sensors back there, you won't even know your eyes are being destroyed.

To observe a solar eclipse, the most basic way to do it is to take two pieces of cardboard, one piece white so that you can project the image onto it. The other with a pinhole in it. You then hold the pinholed piece away from the screen, the farther away it's held, the bigger the image will be.

Remember to be safe!!! = )
