Biography- Sheryl Crow was born February 11, 1962, in Kennett, Missouri. Her father, Wendell Crow played the trumpet before becoming a lawyer. He played the trumpet on Sheryl's song "We Do What We Can". Her mother, Bernice Crow used to teach piano lessons. Sheryl graduated from the University of Missouri with a major in music. She became an elementary school teacher. She auditioned as a background singer for Michael Jackson, and got the part! She has written songs for Wynonna, Eric Clapton, and Celine Dion.
