Muhajreen

One of the other areas we visited was the Muhajreen district of Damascus, which is a poor area. We went to the area with a man who helped support many of the families living in poverty in the hills. Some families of up to 8 members lived in a single room, on what little the father could earn. Finding employment is highly difficult for these men, and that is another thing our contact tried to help them with. We spread several food packets among many of the families in the district. |
