The Putty Patrollers were gray humanoids created by Finster, and served as Rita Repulsa's foot soldiers. The Putties weren't that strong, or smart, and were easily beaten by the Power Rangers, wether they were morphed or not. The Putties had the ability to transform their hands into weapons, such as balls and swords, to use against the Rangers. Occasionally, the Putties would alter their appearance to go along with whatever monster they accompanied, such as the jersey-wearing Putties that aided Rhinoblaster, or the pumpkin-headed Putties that joined Pumpkin Rapper.
When Lord Zedd arrived, he deemed the Putty Patrollers worthless, and permenantly replaced them with his own Z-Putties.
