Mordant is a servant of the evil duo of Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa. Accompanying them as Lord Zedd unleashed Ivan Ooze, Mordant seemed scared by the morphological being. Later, when Ivan trapped Zedd and Rita within a snowglobe, Mordant did nothing to help his former masters (despite their orders), and immediately allied himself to Ivan Ooze. Later, as the parents of Angel Grove dug up and constructed Ivan's Ecto-Morphicons, Mordant supervised them. Mordant was frightened by the Ecto-Morphicons once they were activated, and stayed in the Lunar Palace as they attacked Angel Grove. Later, after Ivan had been destroyed by Ryan's Comet, Mordant was mockingly serving "King" Goldar, only to have an enraged Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa enter the Palace.
