..Ann Pullido, Mr. Gomez Computers Class 707..
So here goes my "site". This creation here was all made
possible by the teachings of Mr.Gomez. So it is. I'll have links
and such to places which I find useful my animation done in class on here. Hope you enjoy. ^_^
For the past two weeks, our class has been at work putting together
our own animation. I personally have learned alot. At first, I thought
that this would be hard not knowing what to do. But I found it much
easier finding help from the handouts and Mr. Gomez. First of all, I
tested out POV-Ray PPC. I tried out different camera angles on the X, Y,
and Z axis. I found that computer animation did not only include computer smarts,
but math skills as well. After a day or two, I got the hang of it and
moved on to something else. My next destination was blob sculptor. It took me about
three days to figure out how it worked. I ended up creating a duck.
After that, I was lost and trying to figure out a way to make it work.
With help from classmates, I got back on track and started my
animation.
The first process in the animation was making different
blobs. I took the first blob and took parts of it away. Until about the
third blob, I started rebuilding it. For the last blob, I wanted it to
be perfect, so that my animation would come apart then go back tohow it was in the first frame. So I opened the first blob, then saved it as the last
blob. After that, I went to work trying to animate it. One by one I
opened the blobs in POV-Ray PPC and saved them as picts. After figuring
out the camera angles and saving all nine picts., I went to GIFBuilder.
In order to make the animation, I had to export every pict. in order.
After I put every image in order, I tested out my work.
After testing out my animation, I then converted it into html so that I could open it on a website. I put in the codes for background color, font size, font color, links and more. After days of mistakes I finally got it and posted my animation here, on Angelfire.com. A success. I had done what at first I thought was impossible.
