Give the New York Giants and owner Willington Mara their due for this much: In the first day of free agency the Giants are looking to bolster a defense that surrendered a 24 point lead in a playoff game. Just a day after the begining of free agnecy the Giants have made a big spalsh, but they are not finished. ESPN.com has learned that New York has reached contract agreements with Rosevelt Colvin of Chicago and released Jason Sehorn, who most recently the weakest link in New York's defense. The Giants are also in contact with Hugh Douglas of Philadelphia and WR/KR specialist Jermaine Lewis of Houston. Both players are also expect to be signed by the end of the night.
