DEE ARMSTRONG CRABTREE, FREELANCE WRITER
WRITING HISTORY: I have worked as a freelance writer for several years. My work has taken me everywhere from the recording studio to up into the wide blue sky. I have written about subjects ranging from rock music to senior lifestyle issues. I have had feature articles published in local, regional and national magazines. In the private sector, I have composed print ad copy, brochures, newsletters, sales letters, speeches and press releases. As a paralegal, I have drafted countless letters, wills, corporate records and court documents. I am currently studying journalism at Saint Mary of the Woods College.
WORKS IN PROGRESS: I am in search of publishers for two books I have penned. My first book is "Rock & Roll: This is Serious Business."
This book is a grass roots look at the music industry. It details the ins and outs of the rock business. It is an informative and entertaining read for beginning musicians or for anyone who would like an amusing insider's look at the industry.
My second book is "Manipulating Men for Profit & Pleasure."
This irreverent book is a tongue-in-cheek look at the relationships between men and women. It will appeal to any woman who has ever endured a trying relationship with a difficult man.
