Unwritten Law – “Rest of My Life”
>
Am I the only one that feels alone
Though all is home
Emotions flow
Am I the only one that hears the tears run down my face
Would anybody recognize at all
Cause I know
I’m so slow
But I’m trying
And I’m still dyin to know
Say you won't leave for the rest of my
Life’s the only thing that deals the pain
like pouring rain
breeding hate
and I don’t wanna do no wrong
My god it’s been so long
Please comfort me before I go insane
Cause I know
I’m so slow
But I’m trying
And I’m still dyin to know
Say you won't leave for the rest of my life
The rest of my life
She said I’m so slow
But I’m trying
And I’m still dyin to know
Say you won't leave for the rest of my
I can’t have you leave for the rest of my
Say you won’t leave for the rest of my life
Nate's Comments
This song is just so damn good, its has a great melody and it really flows. Kind of relaxing too. Personally, I think it sounds better live on the “Music in High Places” record.
Review/Bio
This song is awesome. I like about 2/3 of the songs on the “Elva” album, but all the tracks on their live “Music in High Places” album are so good. Rarely do you find a band that sounds as good live as on CD, but Unwritten Law accomplished this. Visit their website: Unwritten Law

Good Charlotte - "The Anthem"
Unfortunately the artist requests that lyrics to their music not be printed on-line. Trust me the song is good.
Nate's Comments
The song is a pick yo' ass off the couch and do somethin' song. Also..I don't ever wanna be you. I want to be me, so word up.
Review/Bio
I used to really like Good Charlotte, who I will refer to as GC, and their first album was awesome. The second album has an equally good sound, but the band themselves has let fame and success rise to their heads. You now need to register to visit parts of their website and they don't like their lyrics printed on-line. I would think a band would let fans vesit their web-site and sing along with their songs on the radio. Guess not in the case of GC. Visit their website: Good Charlotte

Sugarcult – “Saying Goodbye”
She kisses everyone goodbye
and waves her middle finger high
they’re never gonna mess with her again
the drama queen is 17
and sleeping with the boys for free
she’s got a reputation of being easy
every time they put her down, she makes a fist and tears roll down
she packs her bags and plans to run away
she’s saying goodbye and leaving tonight
she’s wasted all her lonely teardrops
she’s saying goodbye and leaving tonight
she’s used up all her lonely teardrops now
she thinks about herself and cares about nobody else
because the only friends she has all put her down
they hate her when she’s beautiful and even more when she’s a fool
they talk behind her back when its her birthday
every time they put her down she makes a fist and tears roll down
she packs her bags and plans to run away
and every time she makes a friend the viscous cycle starts again
she’s never ever, ever looking back
(chorus)
she’s saying goodbye she’s wasted all her lonely teardrops now
saying goodbye, shes used up all her lonely teardrops now
every time they put her down, she makes a fist and tears roll down
she packs her bags and plans to run away, from here
and every time she makes a friend the viscous cycle starts again
she’s never ever ever looking back
(chorus)
Nate's Comments
This is song #5 on the “Start Static” album, the first major record release from Sugarcult. I love the entire album because it has so many different sounds and each song is unique. Other than that I don’t know what to say about it.
Review/Bio
The 4 boys from Santa Barbara, Ca. (Tim Pagnotta - Guitars and Vocals, Ben Davis – Drums and Vocals, Airin – Bass and Vocals, Marko 72 - Guitar) Blend so many different sounds together from distorted guitar to rhythmic guitar solos. The whole album is awesome and look for more songs to be featured soon. Visit their website: Sugarcult

Trust Company - "Downfall"
Fear in me so deep it gets the best of me,
In the fear I fall, here it comes face to face with me,
Here I stand hold back so no one can see,
I feel these wounds, step down, step down,
step (DOWN)
(Am I) Breaking (Down)
Can I break away
Push me away, make me fall,
Just to see, another side of me,
Push me away, you can see,
what I see, the other side of me.
Fall back on me, and I’ll be the strength I need,
to save me now, just come face to face with me,
stay in place you'll be the first to see, me heal these wounds,
step down, step down, step (DOWN)
I’m not breaking, (Down)
can I break away
push me away, make me fall,
just to see another side of me,
push me away you can see,
what I see, the other side of me
(Go!) (Fall!)
Can I break away
push me away, make me fall,
just to see another side of me,
push me away you can see,
what I see, the other side of me
No one can see anything on the other side of me
I walk, I crawl, loosing everything and waiting for the downfall
No one can see everything on the other side of me
I walk, I crawl loosing everything on the downfall.
Downfall, Fall.
Nate's Comments
This is the first hit from Trust Company off their debut album "The Lonely Position of Neutral". Although this song isn't really new, I love this song and I don't know why. If you have been around me in the past 3 or 4 months, you will recognize it as the song I break into. Everyone has felt this way at one time or another, that nobody can really see all the sides of you.
Review/Bio
This California foursome (Kevin Palmer - Guitars and Vocals, Jason Singleton - Drums, Josh Moates - Bass, James Fukai - Guitar) blends alternative rock with harmonic lyrics. It is an awesome unique sound and awesome fresham effort. To hear the song and checkout the band, visit their website Trust Company
