Basic Native Language Literacy

This class will review basic mathematics, writing, and spelling in Spanish. Students who enroll in this class often have not progressed beyond the primary grades in elementary school. In mathematics, for example, the instructor teaches addition and subtraction. To foster literacy skills, she places strong emphasis on the alphabet, dictation, and reading simple stories.
