     Surf Report - April 1, 2003

What surfshot.com sez (italics and bold are my comments):

Fun rides at an undisclosed LJ Reef this morning.

Pretty consistent sets with waves breaking on the outside and peeling for both sides all the way to the beach.

10 guys out enjoying some fun workable walls with some texture in the water surface.

Best - opps WORST - SD option so far.

Stay away from here and you'll Have more fun...

Waves size: waist high

Sets size: chest high

Sets Interval: 5 to 6 min

What I say:

No April Fools today - waves are good!

South swell as predicted.

Surfed "Green Rocks" today -

=============================================================================

==============================================================================

- uncrowded and good.

Notables in the water were Ryan Bracker and Greg Bergen (and ME of course)!

Wave faces on the sets were easily 6' plus a bit!

South wind ruined it by 7:00 AM, but so what!

You can be in the water at 4:45 AM!

The swell is predicted to pick up thru tomorrow -

The tide's perfect, early for WindanSea, and then on to "Green Rocks" for the incoming tide -

We'll find out tomorrow!

Later,

BA
