Happy New Year - To All Kooks - In The Water or At Their Keyboards - Beware - The NEW BA for '04!

I made it back from Panama City, Arizona, just in time to get some good waves at Green Rocks on Jan 1, 2004.

Typical New Year's Day in La Jolla - Good waves and not many surfers before noon. In fact, Comstock and I were the only ones out for almost an hour.

I was able to catch a few before the tide got too low, then I got caught inside and made the mistake of trying to go in at Polluted Point - actually - it was a Big Mistake -

I made it in, relatively unscathed, and had a pretty good laugh or two, watching Comstock getting spit-out of a tube on the take-off.

New Year's Resolution: No more Mr. Nice Guy - I figger I got ten more years of serious living and surfing left in me - full throttle!
