Got back from Chicago - luckily - just in time for some bombs at Barrio Shatto - La Jolla -
I could see white water at Seaside - from the 5 at 6:00 am!
I keep tryin' to get a photo from inside the tube - never happens -
It can't be the singer, it's gotta be the song!
BA - that's ME below - pulling in? pulling out? Just missing the paddling-out guy!

Made a couple of round-trips from The Shores to Wind**Sea, and ended-up paddling out at Green Rocks.
The tide dropped - and the waves had some serious ledges.
Comstock recovered nicely from yesterday's shark attack -
A fisherman in Ocean Beach caught a Leopard Shark and when they gutted the shark they found Comstock's toe.
Scripps Hospital called Jim and they attached his toe last night -
Comstock paddled-out at Green Rocks and got way more than his share of bombs.
As I was driving away, I saw Jim scratching for the horizon - and I was torn:
Do I want to see him eat the big one, or make it over the big one?
Darn, he made it over about a 12' face, sucking-out Green Rocks rogue wave.
Bummer!
