Welcome to a Day With BA Enjoy Your Surfing In La Jolla, California?
Now Go Home!
24 Nov 2003
Surfed the Shores on Saturday - the surf was much better than it looked - but since the Shores never gets any good - that ain't sayin' much -
Go Home - Stay Home
The paddle-out was a bit tough on Sat - plus the current was running from south to north - pretty uncommon in the winter.
Go Home - Stay Home!
The hot babe supply at The Shores is way up over previous winters - in both quality and quantity - I oughta know - I've spent more than 50 years tryin' to get accepted by the cool LJ Shores Crew(s).
(Maybe I should find out if the surf hotties have [potentially jealous] husbands and / or boyfriends, BEFORE I post their photos?)
On Sunday, The Shores was small enough for the people who didn't surf on Saturday to paddle-out - whew - perfect size for most of them - knee to waist high bombs.
Naturally, I didn't go out - 'cause I only surf in waves with 20 foot faces and above -
Jim Comstock showed-up early Sunday morning - he, Matera and I were the only locals to brave Saturday's giant waves - and he (Comstock) thought he'd get a repeat of Saturday's waves -
He Ruled!
[once he made it out] - Just Kidding!!
Comstock likes the bombs too, so I told Jim that we oughta go to B****'s later in the day - low tide -
I made-up a phoney excuse about having to go to work or something like that - and I went to the LJ Reefs:
=============================
Inside and outside lines at Rocky Point Reef
============================
Very uncrowded - very good - very clean -
I surfed New Jersey Reef and East San Diego Vatto Reef -
Oops - I forgot I was supposed to meet Comstock for a Blac*'s -
- safari - I wonder if he's still sitting the the Shores Parking Lot??
Oh well - maybe he oughta invest in a FREE cellphone!
