Not a bad surf weekend -
Got the truck back from the transmission guy - Thursday
Left the truck in the guarded lot at work - Friday morning - and I made a HUGE mistake by not going to Wind**Sea - DJ said it was good, and I, because of the fog, didn't go up there.
Rented a car from Enterprise for the weekend - $30 for three days - can't use the truck for that price.
Now I can take the Coaster in from O-Side in the morning - use the truck as the surf vehicle for am or pm surfing - then Coaster back to O-Side -
Total fog attack on Saturday, but because I don't rely upon surf reports or cyberspace surf reports, I knew that Green Rocks would be good.
Kind-da medium high tide all day, south swell, who cares if you can see the waves from the beach - it's gotta be good?
Made a couple of trips from The Shores to Uptown LJ, and picked-up Jim Comstock for a Green Rocks safari.
I swore him to secrecy and we paddled-out at GRs.
Waves were good, with Rodney and Eric and couple of other local guys are sharing the peak peacefully.
The fog lifted and Green Rocks got a bit crowded - I left Jim to fend for himself, and I went in.
Later,
