Zeta Chi Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc

"Greater Service, Greater Progress"

"Dedicated to Improvement, Devoted to Each Other"

The Zeta Chi Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority was chartered on the campus of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa on November 14, 1975. Since then, the Zeta Chi chapter has proven to be undefeated and represents to the fullest. This chapter knows the true meaning of quality, success, and determination.

Sigma Gamma Rho strives to be the best, and yes we have proven ourselves to be above the rest. Our beloved seven founders paved the glorious way for the women of Sigma Gamma Rho. We are taught to walk like a poodle with head held high, be ever so beautiful like the yellow tea rose, and know that we are RHOyalty because we are women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.

We have "QUALITY", and never worry about "QUANTITY". We are proud to be small because that shows the world where the real women are. We are truly one-of-a-kind. Portia Vernor, Jeania Williams, Dia McGaster, Nicole Thompson, Amanda Pugh, Sara Strong, Kimberly Campbell, Ebony Burnett, Tara Hayden, Miriam Wright, TaNeezia Jones, Shawndrika Cook, Felecia Rupert, and Monigue Feagin are leading the Zeta Chi Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho. Our advisor, Tamara Gainous of the Chi Sigma graduate chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho, is an inspirational light to all of the Zeta Chi members.

We salute our graduates: 2001 - Shawnta Saxton, Maya Lindsey, and Wendy Anthony. Our graduates of 2002- Kuwanna Moore, Tiffany Feagin, Victoria Starks, Stacia Self, Kelly Sydnor, Jamie Allison, and Erica Cotton. We are ultimately striving for greater heights on the campus of the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa.
